Outside Counsel

For clients that do not have an attorney on the payroll, our lawyers often serve as “Outside General Counsel”, overseeing legal matters such as ones involving employment, contractual dealings, financings, engineering, human resources and production that the companies may confront, as well as corporate governance and business policy. We may assume a role that involves clients’ crisis management and public advocacy. If such clients have specialized needs such as tax work, mergers and acquisitions, certain aspects of intellectual property and other areas of the law that our firm may not do, we will assist in retaining qualified attorneys to perform those tasks and supervise their work to ensure that our clients continue to enjoy top legal representation for reasonable fees.
